Why can't i get access to the forums or the FTP?

Hey everyone.. i've got a question id like answered.

After using the FTP here this morning i suddonly got a "Internet Explore cannot show the website" error when trying to access this site, then i checked the FTP and it would not allow me access eighter.

But.. i can connect to the site though a Proxy placed in sweden so im just wondering why? Did i get banned or something (and if so, for what?) or is this a server side issue?

Allright, just tested my mothers internet to see if it was indeed something with my IP specificly or something else and i cant connect to the website there eighter. We are using the same Internet Service Provider but it still makes me wonder why and just what happend?

I had a similar issue.. i changed my DNS to googles DNS.

This is happening because of your Internet Service providers DNS. You may want to contact them to find out why.

Changed my DNS to OpenDNS while praying some douchbag hasnt done something to make this a blocked website on my DNS (but i simply cannot see why that would happen)

same thing happened to me. this is the first time ive been able to log on from home this week :(

from work it works fine though, so its something to do with my ISP. would like a quick guide how to access the site via another proxy as this is not the first time its happened to me.

I can do that, give me a few hours and i'll setup a guide to how you can change your DNS and how you can use an easy-to-use proxy

just remember... the way you do it on your pc may vary depending on what version of windows you are using.

you should also consider using a true FTP client (standards based) instead of internet explorer.
