I am trying to make a master mame.xml list.

Load hq
go game list
go mame
click green cross
ask if a new mame list
yes

hq says " There is no main game list defined."
" Hperspin requires this main game list to fuction properly."
" The game list you wil create now will becomethe main game list."
"OK"
click ok and get a error

Unhandles exception has occured in your application. If you click continue,the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click quit, the application will close immediately.

I click quit
I have made a couple list before and it worked fine.
I have got to have done something wrong

help pls i want one more mame.xml list

Try sticking any xml in your mame folder and pick that just so it has something to delete, maybe name it mame.xml.

I have my mame.xml in the databases folder already...the one i am using

so click continue instead of quit?
if i continue hq does nothing.

tried that, even delete mame.xml in hq

still no luck

What is main game list?

try a new catver?

i dled a new set of roms so i wanted to make sure i got them all reason why i doing this.

I i am unable to make a new game list for mame

ok i got hq to make a mame game list.

i picked atari 5200 instead of mame in hq.

then just moved from atari folder to mame

weird but worked
