I was playing around with the original mame theme.
I think It became kind of cool in this metalic shape...
and the background animation in the Main Menu is funtional too.

and what we normally do on the forum is post a new theme and then ask some feedback from other users for some changes or stuff some users have good ideas the end results are always great:top:

This theme is approved and available for download. I also added a metallic MAME wheel image to the zip.

I did something similar but I did not create or change the artwork of the original theme. All I did was edit it to utilize that empty box on the right to show the arcade poster & the marquee up it. I resized all the marquee's & posters using faststone photo resizer so they all stay the same size. You might try implementing that into the theme. I altered many of the themes to create something suitable to my needs (such as using a great gameboy main theme from SophT altered to also be my system theme since none was available)

I thought about put the marquees in place of the mame logo, but in general they are low quality...
and I don't know how to do it.:embarassed:
But would be cool.

I was watching a video of Ultracade on youtube and saw that the background animation close over the prior theme.

It's really cool. So I was trying to implement It but couldn't make the background become transparent(the animation is transparent). Than I tryed to move the background to artwork1 layer. It worked to some point, the back ground closed over the prior theme, but It covered the video and the wheel.
Is there a way to do It?
