View Full Version : Hacking Guitar Hero USB dongles.

anyone done this? pulled the case off one and it's just a microswitch and led. I wanna hook up some illuminated pushbuttons with guitar, bass and drum logos in the top. That would mean no dongles just some "awesome" buttons, problem is it looks like the microswitch already on it has 4 connections, macro shot time.

top and bottom views, hooking up the LED would be easy, I'm just not sure about the microswitch, thoughts/suggestions/solutions!

All done. up and running, although the stripped down dongle doesn't supplie enough power to light up an illuminated arcade button LED,
