Ive been doing my nut in trying to find a game that used to be in our local fish and chip shop.

It was a capcom graphics style top down shooter, but i swear it was a tank.

The first stage had metalic looking blocks at the start, and later on you had to go around what looked like a pond.

There were weapon upgrades...

Thats all I can remember...

Anyone got any clues ... lol worth a shot.

Thanks for having a punt, but im pretty sure you start in a tank. I remember Akari warriors really well and it wasnt that.

Nope, and now its driving me crazy lol.

PS Namco assault is ace :)

Dont know if this help with any timeline, but the arcade machine they had in before this one was wwf Wrestlefest
