is there anyway to have both MAME & model2 games show up on the same wheel? I don't really want/need each emu to have its own wheel...
and with model2 games, how do you exit them to get back to HS?
Right now multiple emulators in a single wheel is not possible. It might come eventually, but right now it is not a priority. That is a feature that I would love to have though.
For Model2, check out this thread for support (http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=852).

1) bummer
2) that is the thread that made me go out and get the model2 emu in the first place... but I didn't see anything in there about how to exit a game?

In that thread, I added Model 2 to the HyperLaunch program. This will allow you to exit using the ESC key when you use it with HyperLaunch. I also zipped up the folder structure to add Model 2 to your HyperSpin setup. Both of these files are attached in that thread.
To use HyperLaunch for Model 2 you would setup the settings for it like the following:
[exe info]
path = Z:\Model 2\
rompath = Z:\Model 2\roms\
userompath = true
exe = emulator_multicpu.exe
romextension = zip
parameters =
pcgame = true
pcgameextension = BAT
winstate = HIDDEN
hyperlaunch = true

I don't think I have ALT+F4 on my control panel:(

if your control panel uses a ipac, by default p1 and p1 together should be esc

People are still making command-line unfriendly emulators? Shame on them...
