hello, i am trying to run Model 2, i have the roms and my game list ready, but dont start the games.......HP show me that in the log.txt :
07:37:50 AM | Entering Menu
07:37:56 AM | Excecutable is Model_2_Emulator_0.7ae
07:37:56 AM | Running as PC Game
07:37:56 AM | Error Cannont Find File: C:\HyperSpin\Emulators\Model_2\daytona.BAT

Does it work outside of HS?
Did you get the new version of HyperLaunch?

Is the only way you can get it to run via bat files? Other wise make PCGame = false in your ini file.

I see HyperLaunch 1.01 has been added to support Model 2. Has that been updated from the version that is floating around the forum here?

The version floating around was unofficial, he just wanted to get you going
The official name is "Sega Model 2" so you need to adjust your ini file name and your database entry for the main menu, and your media directory name if applicable.

Well, i fix my setting and now when i try to execute the emulator in the HP, the screen goes black and i need to restar the HP.
in the log.txt show me that:
03:47:07 PM | Launching file
03:47:07 PM | Command Line is: "C:\HyperSpin\Emulators\Sega Model 2\Sega Model 2 0.7a\emulator_multicpu.EXE" "C:\HyperSpin\Emulators\Sega Model 2\Sega Model 2 0.7a\roms\bel.zip"

My model two roms are zip yes.
If you dont have zipped roms then change the extension in mame.ini in the settigns folder

I fix all my roms, i donwloaded roms .zip and change romparth in setting, but still with errors,
run the game and my screen goes black and my HS dont work more.

I have the same issue. I can run the roms outside of HS but I cannot get them to load in HS with the Model 2 emulator. the log shows that it is loading the rom but then the screen just goes blank...
Anyone know how to get this to work?

Post your log and config, we'll go from there. Its just loading the emu with no game right?

I apologize for bumping an old topic. But I seem to be having a similar issue with games not loading up. I checked the log and it said "Error cannot find rom file: d:\emulators\model 2\roms\vf2.zip even though it's in the folder. This also applies to all my my model 2 roms and master system roms :(
