Error when starting NES

I was able to get MAME set up fine but when I moved on to NES, I keep getting hit with the same error. When i try to start a game, an error box comes up that says "Don't open a "D:\...\...\... .zip" file". It has an OK button and when I press it, Nestopia opens with no game. I can load a game manually from there, but that kind of defeats the purpose. The same thing happened with several NES emulators that I tried. Any ideas?

This is an issue with Nestopia... It is telling you that you do not have your file paths set. You need to launch Nestopia and go into the settings and make sure that you have all of your paths setup.

Holy moley! That worked like a charm. Now if I can figure out how to get Nestopia to exit with the escape button.

Holy moley! That worked like a charm. Now if I can figure out how to get Nestopia to exit with the escape button.In the button configs within Nestopia you can set the EXIT button to ESC.

I knew it had to be there somewhere. It's under Options/Input/File.
