Hi everyone, I'm proud to present my new theme for Konami's excellent shooter Crypt Killer. There doesn't appear to be too much artwork around for this title, but I found a hi quality flyer which I have taken inspiration from.
Pretty much static theme except for the way it builds up, which is really neat.

I like the layout and concept, but the images look a little too low-quality (maybe it's just the snapshot). Anyway, I found a flyer about 850px wide. I enlarged it to 1024px wide and adjusted the colors a bit (mostly making the blacks darker). Click the thumbnail to get the full-size. Hope it helps.
btw, you may have cut out a ghost on the right side.

Who you gonna call? Babymaggie lol - Much quicker and I do less damage than the Ghostbusters! Thanks for the high res flyer. I did think the colours were a little washed out on my flyer - How do you darken the blacks in photoshop or gimp? Do you have to use the fill tool a lot? or is there a better way?
Many thanks for the help
I will try not to get too carried away and upset the spirits when Im chopping away at the poster :-)

I have tidied this theme right up using rondars flyer - I think it's made a huge difference to the overall look and feel to the theme.
The new Crypt Killer logo has been er borrowed and slightly edited (added lightning strike) from the beautiful quality wheel art in mame as it was sooo clean.
PS: Ghost is restored now :-)
If it looks OK I will upload for approval.
Many thanks rondar and the mame wheel artist.

In Photoshop go to: Image > Adjustments > Selective Color
Just play around with the different settings in "Image > Adjustments" and you'll be able to improve images significantly.
I actually like your original title better. I think the coloring and style matches better. To clean up the edges, use the pen tool to cut it out.

Hi rondar - Thanks for the tips they are invaluable - I Have rejigged the colours and they are much better! and I have reverted back to the original logo and have played around with the new colour technique.
The more i'm learning photoshop the more i'm loving it.
I love gimp also but I think it may be redundant soon.
Many thanks to you.

Loads in really nice - Just don't forget to place the cryptklr.flv (included) in the mame video folder for the theme to run sweet!
Many thanks to everyone for all the help and advice.
