hello people, im new to this forum (started in the pinball construction cab thread) but at the same time im building an Multicade cabinet.. I love the forum!

I have a question, how many buttons should i put ? (i will be stripping 2 joysticks)

6 action buttons per side
1 coin
2 coin
Start
Exit

Hi, am converting an old videomaster cab, (so almost done:).
underneath the control panel ive drilled in six admin buttons which i plan to use as - Pause- tab key (to enter mame config)-esc key and im also putting in an alt and an f4 to exit a few unnoficial emus like amstrad,
ive also drilled to holes either side to control the pinball flippers :)

you might want to seriously consider a trackball with Left/right mouse buttons. Then not only can you play cool trackball games, you can also play all the mouse controlled games. And you dont need to pull out a mouse when you are working on your cab.

Check out my cpo http://img225.imageshack.us/f/classictemplatecopy.png/ its the button layout for Hyperspin on the master control only need to add the 2 mouse buttons under the trackball. i used 7 a button layout for some Mame games and the others systems

Not a fan of admin buttons
Using an IPac there is no need for them

thank you guys for your feedback, this cab im building will be for selling, like more oriented for kids and some Bar, etc.. i thought and i did this so far.
