MAME and MESS issues [Archive] - HyperSpin HyperBoard

So I finally get all my ROMS downloaded for Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, Jaguar, Lynx, and MAME and now I have an issue getting them all to work.

Whenever I try to load up one of these ROMS, it'll load into MAME or MESS and quickly close after loading. I don't even get a splash screen from the ROM before it closes out.

I know this is not an XML issue because they are correct and the ROMS wouldn't load period if database is incorrect.

Do any of you have a clue? Have I missed something stupid here?

run mame outside of hs so you can see the error message, chances are your roms dont match your mame version

Jaguar isnt suported by MESS, and try to update your roms with ClrMAMEPro (http://mamedev.emulab.it/clrmamepro/) :smokin:
