Atari 7800 + Mess stuck on loading screen

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone else has problems with the atari 7800 running in mess 0.138. Some games seem to work - Asteroids being one I can think of but then others Ace of Aces and many others get stuck on the Atari loading screen.

This happens when I am running mess without hyperspin so I guess its either bad roms or a mess problem. The Atari loading screen starts up fine but then nothing happens, the colour animation keeps moving but the game won't load.

I have had the same issue.. I figure it's just bad roms.. i downloaded from a torrent. most torrent experiences have been bad. I plan to re download some problem ones from various places and see if that helps. ill let ya know.

Sorry I forgot to post a reply here, it was due to bad roms. I have got a set which seem to work fine now.
