Hi all,
After a long time searching artwork for this game, finally i worked on a characters captured directly for the game intro, but obviously retraced (Vector magic for start and photoshop) for the theme.
There are some NEOGEO scan covers for this game, but those arts are too dirty :banghead:
I used the same cloudy sunset heaven and that war graveyard from the title for the background with a soft flash scroll.
Ok, this is the preview capture, tellme what do you think (please ignore fatal fury video snap :embarassed:).

What did you do in Photoshop to clean up the images? (I think clean-up is an important step when using vector magic.)

Basically all you can see "vectormagified" :laugh: must be corrected, there is an example below:
1- Original
2- After Vector Magic and deleted game info (credits, etc.)
3- After Photoshop

*Note that is the first time I used Vector Magic.
I re-did completely the eye, the hair and the sword, corrected edges from face and hand and some more little details.

Excellent job on the cleanup! And thanks for the progression snapshots - very useful for anyone else vectorizing game images.

Excellent work Mr. RAO, this theme looks great and very clean, it is indeed one of my favorite NeoGeo samurai fighting games with an excellent weapon system and unfortunately it is also one of the most overlooked and under appreciated games on Neo Geo with no ports to other systems and it is a shame since in my opinion it is much better than the Samurai Shodown series and is in the same league as the excellent Last Blade series and it deserves a place amongst one of the best samurai fighting games on the NeoGeo. =) Cheers & thanks

Thanks manipars, I agree with all, this fighting game is really sick, i love it, is a little mix between last blade and an earlier kof but the special attacks are really hard to do :boxing: :)

I'm ashamed to say I have never played this game, now I have an excuse to do so!
Hmm, I knew about VectorMagic, but never actually used it. By the looks of your theme it's about time I'm gonna. :D
