Does HyperHQ work with Vista 64? It crashes for me every time I try to make a game list. I get the same error when running it in compatibility mode as well.

I'm pretty sure that the error you are getting is because you probably don't have your MAME.xml in your database folder. Either you changed the extension or deleted it. If you don't have a MAME.xml in your database folder then create a file named MAME.xml and then try HQ again.
