themes wait for special

HELLO

I bought the two transitions packs and when i check the box of "themes wait for special " I do not see the artwork and videos of every game that does not have theme, because when a game does not have theme it also dont have transition and he wait to the transition before loading the artwork and video

How to resolve this? It looks much better when i check the box of "themes wait for special "

i had that same problem, tick the reload backgrounds on the navigation/themes for your wheel and it sorts it out

thanks but now all the games have transitions enen when they use default theme and it looks really bad

yeah, you're right, the only way round it is to rename the transition you want to use as the same name as the rom you want to use it for and place it in the override transitions folder. there's nothing else can be done about it, unless anyone else knows a better way, would be a help to me too.

I think it's something that needs to be fix before making and selling more transitions packs

i have a separate music soundtrack for each game(mame only) which bypasses the sound from the attract video which totally solves the problems with juddery transitions, try switching off your sound for the videos in hyperhq, see if it makes a difference. i found using the intersitial backgrounds helps too.
