Toobin - couple animations. Not much artwork I could find so I just went at it. The video overlay on that video on emumovies is broke, so the border is missing.

I would rather see a cartoon looking background than an actual pic of a river. IMO it just doesn't fit well with the tubers and gator.

Ok, I photoshopped the background and added a filter to give it a more cartoony look.

a little better. have you tried searching online for a river clipart or cartoon river? maybe give that a shot or wait to get other feedback. maybe i'm way off here :)
I agree with urbecrisch. You might want to look at some of Bill's Daphne theme backgrounds... Mach 3 and Road Blaster were real images and then just put through some filters to make them look more cartoony.

I was just thinking why not use the real artwork from the machine like the marquee or sideart, would suit the game more and you'd actually be using art form the game. The marquee has a much better scene of the waterfall and some rocks n stuff. Thats probably the path I'd of takin for this game.
