Some other thoughts I've had which I think would be simple:
1) As mentioend by others. Having multiple video's would be good for either main theme or specific system. This could easily be achieve (in my opinion and could be wrong!) by having a sub folder in the video directory. I.E. for main mame in video, if there was a Mame video folder, HS would only have to select a random flv from that folder. It would work for main and system themes.
2) Would it be possible to introduce an alpha option for all artwork? I noticed that using particle system, it is possible to have alpha for the entire artwork. Although I've still got to get a use for it. With the commodore theme I'm working on, it'd be useful to fully alpha the monitor to a few levels. Therefore i'd be able to have a glass reflection effect over the video. I hope you understand what I mean here.
3) Would it be possible to have a resize option for artwork as we have with video? I'm finding I'm downsizing artwork (losing quality as i do so). I'd love to keep artwork at a higher size and let HS resize. This would be useful for changing resolutions later and not having to go back to the masters images. Although I understand there is additional processing power for this, therefore a maximum resolution for artwork should be agreed!
