Well the multi default idea didnt make it, lets see if this one does......
I was thinking, since you guys dont wanna implement somenthing so we can use HS on vertical monitor, maybe it could be simple to implement somenthing that makes hyperspin split in 2 on the same screen, that way we could use hyperspin on cocktail cabinets, no need to redo themes , just like the function in mame, hows that?

So what happens when you go to play a game? Wouldnt you need to split that to.

only for a few games, but what about everything else, or is it all games?

Any game in MAME and (and MESS, for that matter) can be set to cocktail mode. I imagine the ideal solution to the OP's request would be to have a version of Hyperspin the same size and rotation as HyperPIN, though I'm sure that'd require a considerable amount of work, not to mention entirely new themes.

A temporary solution for the OP could be to just use Hyperpin itself. It'd probably be technically possible to edit the Future Pinball launch script to just launch MAME instead, though I've never tried before.

sorry but the post lasted a few days without atention , that i though no one care about the idea, the idea is:
Mame allready has suport for cocktail modem, and in games with horizontal orientation, mame does this split screen feature, so every player has independent controllers and view of the game on a cocktail machine. So hyperspin does not have to tell mame to do the cocktail mode.
So the idea is, if hyperspin can just copy the split screen rotation feature that mame has, by rotating hyperspin on 2 inverse screens to be able to fit on a vertical monitor, in that way, there would be no need to edit themes or wheels, just the hyperspin engine i guess.....
BBB you where inspired by Ultracade to create hyperspin, remember that ultracade has a cocktail cab version too, thanks for reading
