PC game launching

I was wondering if there' s any way already which enables me to launch PC from HS, i should i be waiting for further releases for that aspect?

As i understood from other topics hyperlaunch doesnt support PC games yet, would that be the only way to launch them?

PC games launch perfectly fine with HS as it is right now.

If you have a PC Games.ini in your settings you just need to set it up like this:

pcgameextension = lnk
pcgameparamaters =
winstate = MAXIMIZED

You will need to create shortcut (.lnk) files for the game in the directory you set as the roms path. Of course you will need to use dir2xml to create your database file as the games in the database needs to be named to match the .lnk files.

thankyou, got it working!
Now i just need to find out how to get back in HS :)(ESC isnt working and just closing the game gives me black screen)

also had a error message launching hamsterball (Black screen, when pressing ALT+F4 i got this message: "could not install eSellerate engine", whatever that might mean)


anyone knows how to solve these problems?

just create a shortcut of your game launch file and Voila, theres your LNK file :)

right mouse button on your launch file -> create shortcut

Digging up my old thread for the following:

I got my PC games working now, but there seems to be something wrong in my PC gaming list. Backgrounds from games I scrolled to previously dont go away, and new themes get loaded half. Also the names in the bottom of my screen many times do not match with the actual theme displayed...

Could anyone check this out for me, or does anyone have his complete PC games list working correctly?

You will need to disable 'hide extensions for know file types' in folder options, that way you can change the shortcut to a .lnk file.
