Hi guy's n girls - My latest and greatest theme :-) for our amusement!
Irem's old shoot em up Lethal Thunder (Thunder Blaster Japan)
Massive Irem logo on startup fading away to a moving earth with glowing stars thanks to the lovely sparkle particle.
It took 200+ not kidding attempts at getting the shape for the video cutout including saving and installing in hypertheme then testing took me forever, So moving/resizing the video is not easy!.
Fortunately it looks decent where it is and Im happy with it.
Features an animated recreation of the power bar.

Very cool, what did you use to get the video in there perfect, just hypertheme?

so are you going to have the thunder blaster or lethal thunder logo- because I don't think it needs both :/
Also the lethal thunder logo will be covered up by the special arts

Bit of a strange one with the title on this one - The flyer has both names on it - Thunder Blaster is more prominent than Lethal Thunder so I'm going to go with the big Thunder Blaster logo in the corner and the smaller Lethal Thunder overlayed on the video.
Also noticed the power bar was 2 pixels to high (fixed)
What do you think?

Just so you know that "Lethal Thunder" is the US release for the cabinet and Thunder Blaster is the Japanese cabinet. I check the Irem game wiki site.

Thanks Beavis - Just chucked this into hyperspin to check it out in real life and I'm not happy:-( The video isnt sitting properly as it appears to be about 20 pixels short each side?
Perfect in the theme editor but not in hyperspin???
Changed screen resolution to match hyperspin and it's still short - Any ideas anyone as to what is going wrong or is it another quirk of hypertheme?
Many thanks for any info on this as its driving me nuts!

I think it's a quirk. The same thing happened with my turbo out run theme. I just adjusted it until it worked out in HS. If it helps, my final rotation was 10 more than originally set in HT. (was 15, now 25) Also, while you're running the theme in HS, take a screenshot. Your preview will show up much more crisp that way. Thanx!

Cheers rondar - Tried adjusting the rotation a few times +10 +20 -10 etc.
Finally come to the conclusion that it's not gonna fix it :-( The gap is just too wide even when making the vid bigger.
I may have to resort to drastic measures and run with something unpolished like this:
Just doesnt look as good though!
The other pic is how it sits in hyperspin with the vid sized increased to try to cure the fault, I may have to chop more flyer away as I dont like to be beaten!

It's took a while and a lot of fiddling again! - But the theme appears to be fixed now.

Holy shizzle my nizzle! Heading straight to the download link, I got my evening cut out for me, sorry wifey, I must neglect...again. Does a wheel image exist with the title as it appears on the splash screen of the game? Lethal on top and Thunder underneath it, might be cool to have if not too tough to edit together.

It's a flash layer. The power bar moves up and down. I think it just gives the theme a little extra animation. It's easy to take out if it's not your taste (just delete that layer in HT).

Thanks to everyone for their kind words - Hats off to rondar for his work on this one.
The theme has been resurrected and the colours are more vivid than ever and the logo's and wheel art make it!

I actually loved the power bar but with the beauty of HT we can edit themes to our heart's content. Right on with the wheel image Rondar, with the numerous changes that this one has gone through I think it was essential. This is my favorite new game, Babymaggie thanks for putting it on my radar.
