    Default AAE and MAME

Trying to setup AAE on my wheel. I downloaded the AAE emulator, but opted not to use it due to no joystick support (I am trying not to use Joy2Key because, in my experience, it slows down button response).

So I downloaded another copy of MAME to use with AAE (because the HyperLaunch Module says it uses MAME .140). However, I cannot get MAME to play any of the roms.

My question is what MAME romset are the AAE rom names in the HyperList database? Or, what is the easiest approach to setting this up?

AAE hasn't been updated for something like 2 and a half years now, so 0.140 is well out, lots of changes since then.
    My guess is around 0.127 - 0.129.
I just used current roms at the time of release and all is fine here.
There were a few releases of AAE, so you really need to check which version you are using.
    Then go here :-

There's the MAME release dates, that should help.

Mr. Black Arm(or anybody else who knows), what ended up being MAME Rom set that ran all the Vector ROMS in AAE? Were you able to get all the roms in the XML to run in MAME? I have many that work and many that don't and am not sure what the problem is. Thanks!
