    Default Best MUGEN games

I was wondering if anyone could help me with some already created MUGEN games..I am just looking for a good fighting game, getting kind of bored with some of the old ones I have been playing

I have downloaded Marvel vs Capcom 3: Last Rise of the Heroes..the game is fun, just some things seem a little off like certain characters moves and the fact that many characters are hidden from the character select screen

Are there any other good MUGEN games? Youtubed a bunch but many seem to not be of good quality

Hi Bubsy. You're in luck, I've recently been adding to and organizing my Mugen collection and have checked out quite a few complete games. Below are what I would consider the best based on the number, quality, uniqueness of characters, the overall presentation in the screenpack etc..

Avengers vs. Xmen (AvX) - by Infinity Mugen Team
XMen Second Coming - by Infinity Mugen Team
Super Marvel vs. Capcom Eternity of Heroes - by Infinity Mugen Team
    King of Fighters Zillion
King of Fighters Anthology Mugen Edition
    King of Fighters Memorial
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus Ultimate Mugen
    Super Capcom vs. SNK
SNK vs. Capcom Ultimate Mugen 3rd Battle Edition
MK Project HD 4.9.3 - Mortal Kombat
    DB12 - Dragonball Z
    Shades of Manhatten - Original
    Hokuto No Ken - Original
    Cartoon Mugen - Fun characters

I'd say I was the most impressed with King of Fighters Zillion and Guilty Gear XX Accent Core

You can find links to all in Google, somewhere in my surfing I wandered upon this link http://uploaded.net/folder/tt8v8e which has quite a few complete game links on it.

Awesome, thanks for the list. When I get home I'll be sure to check them out.

I have already seen Shades of Manhattan 2, I was very impressed by the story and gameplay, hopefully the other will impress too. Thanks again.

Thanks again for the list...I was able to get 6 games that I really liked

As I was searching for some games, I cam across Super Heroes MUGEN which had a ton of characters in it, so I got it...I believe that there are just too many characters to choose from in that game, so I did a little more searching and saw a ton of DC vc Marvel games out there

I was able to download one of them, but it was not very good...are there any good ones out there? I can't seem to find any for download if there are.

No problem, glad you found some that you liked.

There's not a great Marvel vs. DC pack that I've found. The only two I know of are by Scruffy Dragon and called M.U.G.E.N Marvel vs. DC and DC vs. Marvel v1.0. The second has fewer characters and a little better graphics so you may like it better.

The Mugen characters get updated all the time so it may best to get them directly from the creators site or another wharehouse site and just build your own Marvel vs. DC screenpack. Depends on how picky you are about how they play, whether you want the latest and greatest and how much time you have to spend messing with a custom screenpack and downloading stuff.

Below are some more helpful links. It's the bigger better sites, forum round-ups and/or top quality super hero char creators I've found.

The Mugen Fighters Guild http://network.mugenguild.com/guild/start.html is also a great resource of what's all out there for characters. It also links off to authors sites and shows which authors have done which characters.

OMG... tested KOF zillion... really, really, really far ahead from many mugen games in terms of "quality". Does someone have a link to the last update? I found a 2010 edition, there should be a newer version I guess...

Ok, I find latest kofz release but it seems a bit more bugged...

I would add The black heart to the list. It's... well, don't judge character design by trailer and just download it (it's free anyway). Probably more an "art game" rather than a real fighting games... It gives the sensation something "wrong" is going on the screen just like some silent hill games. Just a suggestion: don't try it with kids around, it mixes cartoonish graphic with more realistic gore stuff.

The Black Heart looks very cool...KOFZ is great. Those other suggestions though by 8BitMonk were great.
