Cool! Can't wait to try it out. BTW, I edited your post and put the proper logo in. Looks much better
That's right! It's finally ready for the public!
Powered by Hyperion
Current Version: 1.1
What is HyperList?
An easier way to manage your lists from the comfort of your own desktop rather then having to use several applications or go to several resources. It is powered by Hyperion, meaning that if I update Hyperion, you can update HyperList's databases from two simple clicks.
Due to this being a PC application, this also gives the added benefit of scanning the ROMs on your computer, managing the downloaded lists, auditing your themes, and even submitting things to Hyperion! (some of these are still in the works)
- Windows 2000/XP/Vista
- .NET Framework 2.0 or Higher
- 32 MB of RAM or higher (If you don't meet this, wtf are you doing here? )
- 7MB of free disk space (this is included for added comic value)
Download link removed due to upcoming release HS Release
See attached pictures for previews!

XD No problem.
Shit, now I should put an exe link in HyperHQ just to open this from the game list tab, instead of making something like this myself. And a theme auditor is MUCH needed!
The theme auditor doesn't fix any problems yet, but it can report bad filenames in the XML files
Next release will include more enhanced auditing/fixing.

way to go lashek. is the 'hyperion database' link working for dir2xml yet? I can't remember from testing but I thought it was.
yay no more game over screens. you work amazingly fast.
Yes, the dir2xml is fully functional from my own testing. Even added in the "Exclude unmatched information" so that if a game is found in the folder but is not found in the Hyperion database, it will be ignored.
You still lose the game though. In fact, I just lost the game by thinking about the game. Damn.
Just had a play with this it's really well done! those databases must have taken a lot of work to create. Stunning mate, just stunning!
I do have one change that I would like to see and that's the removal of extra info in the game description field, for example the country, rev etc.
The "Update Databases" feature actually connects to Hyperion and builds the XML's straight from Hyperion's data, so that part was already done. Just needed to pull it. Just one benefit my application will have over any other XML List app (Direct access will not be given to any application I am not a part of in some fashion).
I wasn't aware of the ignore special info flag which ini does that go in and what is the syntax please?
NVM I see it now
