delt31 Posted June 29, 2015 Share Posted June 29, 2015 I'm able to now add games to my fav list via hyperspin front end (add fav option) but certain games don't show up. I narrowed it down to games where I've labeled the clone (or 2 player version) as my main selection as opposed to the default being the 4 player. For example simpsons that is selected when I pick it from the all games option is the 2p version (rom simpson2a). When I go to add it to my fav it never shows up. I manually added the rom name to the list (simpsons2a) but it still won't show up. If I add simpsons rom name, it does but it's the wrong version. Any suggestions? needles Posted June 30, 2015 Share Posted June 30, 2015 Do you have "Parents Only" ticked in HyperHQ (wheel settings) for that system? I'm not in front on my setup so can't test. I used to have MAME wheel set as "Parents Only" to filter out clones and think I had the same issue trying to add a particular Street Fighter 2 clone I wanted. I recently started playing with Dons Hyperspin Tools to create a custom MAME XML that included parents only, excluded a few genres like Mahjong, Adult, Casino/Reels, etc and manually included a few clones I wanted. Got my MAME list from around 9,000 to 2,800. Still a lot but at least removed a huge chunk of roms I had no interest in. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The games I'm looking to favorite do have a wheel since they are present when I select "all games" in hyperspin - they show up. drewjbx1 Posted August 3, 2015 Share Posted August 3, 2015 Awesome thankyou... did what you mentioned and i just had to rename theme and videos to simpsons2p to see it properly on the wheel. Having weird problem with the konami classics wheel though. Quite a few games missing on the wheel even though they show up when auditing from RL ui. most notably xmen, simpsons...
