Finally, it looks really really good and the GUI opens instantly, no more waiting for the first launch.

I've just upgraded my setup from a nightly version to the stable 1.2.

I only had to batch edit with Notepad++ config files (shaders folders).

One interesting tidbit I saw in that announcement was:

– Download Game & Watch games and play them with our exclusive Game & Watch emulator ! –

People in their early to mid-30s might have seen these things in the wild back n their day and will probably be familiar with these old standalone handheld games that predated the Game Boy, but don’t let their age fool you: these games still are very useful time killers and their age if anything gives them even more charm appeal.

Go to ‘Add Content -> Download Content’ to download any of these Game & Watch games. From there, you can play them with our Game & Watch emulator which has been built from scratch by a valued libretro contributor. Some of the standout features include faithful reproduction of the handheld’s screen layout, high-resolution bezels, nice simulation of the sound effects, etc. Give these a try.*

Anyone know if there is HyperSpin compatible artwork or xml's available for Game & Watch content? I didn't see any xml's on HyperList.

no problem, there has been more updates since this was released with new games and I believe someone improved the module.  As you can see here he has also updated a load of games.  Hes a cool dude and could do with the support.  Its nice if RA really has enabled a core to launch his games :)  Makes it easier to include them in our setups :)

  • 5 weeks later...

I just copied new 1.2.2 files and overwrite the old retroarch, it worked...it just used the old retroarch settings.

Retroarch module seems to work just fine, i'm using RL.

Anyway make sure to backup your retroarch folder, you don't have to change HS
