Not Hyperspin related but a pretty impressive setup nonetheless.   Would be better with Hyperspin of course...

Anyway, forwarding along because he posted a link to his custom version of Retroarch that includes some additional cores for Android -- Amstrad, Amiga, Atari computer, etc.

Amazingly, runs as fast as it did on my HTPC.  I now prefer using my shieldTV over my other emuBoxes.

I'd imagine using android would be a much less frustrating experience than windows. No worrying about controller mapping or full screen settings. I just wish RocketLauncher would come along for the party.

Indeed, my Android setup is pretty seamless.  On Windows, I focused primarily on MAME.

What aspects of RocketLauncher do you think are important for Android?

I really enjoy the bezels on RL. Also, does HS for android support fade? That's a great feature too.

Such amazing work on this reznnate!

There is no fade (at the moment) but most games/emulators should load instantly.   Fade would delay that.

If it's bothersome, it could be added (as an option) in a future update.

I do use a few bezels myself with Retroarch.    If you haven't checked them out, you should.

For older consoles, I use a TV/CRT overlay image and then apply a fancy CRT/scanline/glow shader.

It's an impressive effect that somehow increases the nostalgia factor.

For MAME, both MAMEReloaded and Retroarch support per-game 'artwork'/overlays/bezels, etc.
