Hyperspin with a similar look to EmulationStation

greeting,

i recently discovered the emulationstation frontend and i really like the minimalistic look of the frontend. i just think that hyperspin is by far the better frontend. so i wondered if it would be possible to theme hyperspin to look similar to emulationstation's default look.

here is what im looking for exactly:

example1:

http://www.emulationstation.org/assets/featurettes/full/theming_system.png

-a horizontal scrolling minimalistic main menu with artwork for buttons at the button

http://www.emulationstation.org/assets/featurettes/full/theming_list.png

-a minimalistic game list

-i'd like the simple list to be replaced with nice wheel art

-i'd really like hyperspin to show all the metadata (like number of players, genre etc) and a nice description all in the minimalistic style similar to emulationstation's look

to be clear, for now i just like to know if all that is possible and even more important if it's feasible (meaning it somewhat easy to do in hyperspin). and i'm not looking for a 1:1 replica, just a cool minimal menu (sorry but a lot of hyperspin themes are a bit to flashy for me)

i'd like to thank anyone who read all this, hope you got an idea of what im trying to do. and if anyone can help me in any way, i'd be very grateful.

cheers and have nice day!

tim

Just Emulationstation with Rocketlauncher (if possible) or you can try Launchbox with rocketlauncher

i already tried emulationstation with rocketlauncher and it kinda works but the transition between the two is awful. also i think you misunderstood me. i think that hyperspin is a far better frontend. therefor i prefer to use it. and that's why i'd really like to theme hyperspin to look similar in style to emulationstation (minimalistic look with nice display of metadata).

and therefor the question if that is even possible and feasable.

the closest thing to that you are going to find is this

http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/5401-aeon-nox13-wip/

Hypespin is an art based frontend,  (minimal text).

all the text in the Aeon theme is an artwork image.

if you want to have all the metadata,  you will have to create an artwork image for each game.

in all honesty if you have a large amount of systems in your set up,

you are better of using something like launchbox or gamex

this is a video of the latest launchbox
