overlay gamepad retroarch

hello guys!

 i have a  problem  when i launch a game  by  hyperspin on my shield ( nes, neogeo pocket,....) , i have always  the overlay  of the  pad   on the screen  ,  and  i can't  do anything.

but  if  i launch  a game  by retroarch  no problem ,  full screen  and  my shield controller  work. 

have i forget something in the settings ?

It's using a separate 'config' file when you launch retroarch directly and when you launch from a secondary launcher (like Hyperspin).

The fix is to simply bring up the RA setttings menu AFTER launching a game from Hyperspin, THEN exiting RA again.   That should fix it.

I'm having this same issue.  How do you bring up the RetroArch settings again?  I can't seem to do that.  The settings icon isn't selectable even if I use a keyboard and mouse trying to click it.  Only way I can get back to retroarch settings is to force close it to close the rom loaded.

why can't I do this with mupen64gles. It only pauses game

if using the nvidia shield controller then its the nvidia button. sometimes it needs a long press or a couple of long presses.

 

other controllers you willneed to look at your autoconfig file to find out what button it is using
