Repetitive downloads

[Deadly]

I keep having the same files downloaded every single time I sync. Any ideas why or how to fix?

I have that same issue with some of my systems aswell, the gamecube in particular, some help would be great.

As far as I know there is no fix for that. Mine eventually stopped redownloading gamecube ones and only does a couple c64 ones. It changes all the time if I look back at my logs.

Sorry to revive such an old (2yo) post, but it seems its still happening.

When I tell HyperSync to sync all my system media, it downloads the gamecube video set entirely again.

Can`t say if this is happening to another system.

I don't know if there's a fix, but I don't even use Hypersync anymore because of this. It just starts re-downloading all the wheels I already have and it will overwrite anything I've replaced with newer/better art.

It's a bummer.

I agree with Metalzoic. If I do use Sync I do so very cautiously, backing all of my stuff up beforehand. I really only do a Sync if I'm doing a fresh setup or if to grab new MAME themes that I think I may have missed on the forum.

That works best. Also, I noticed when I regrabbed media a month ago that there's a whole lot of new art in the download section that isn't in the Sync database yet, so if you're ever not happy with how something looks and if you have the time, it's worth checking.

just wanted to say that i noticed mine does the same repetitive downloading. mostly of the gamecube movies. does others but for some reason gamecube it does every movie every time. im removing it from my sync systems for now. but i hope they will code in a audit feature to the sync program. not just for the users benefit, but for the sack of their server bandwidth and others.
