Hmmm not sure what I'm doing wrong but after putting my paths in it doesn't show any assets present and if I click on any hyperlaunch tabs it says creating default folder. Does it matter where this is installed?

horsey, can you send me a link, I'd like to try it out?

No, you don't install it. Can be run from anywhere you like. Needs a Hyperspin dir to read the databases & HyperLaunch Media folder.

Now, I can't remember if this folder defaults inside of hyperlaunch? ../HyperLaunch/Media/Manuals.....etc

Think it does, but mine for example is I:/HyperLaunch Media. It will only create a folder with the System Name if you're missing it for that given tabbed section, so if you're doing something crazy like pointing it somewhere else rather than where it shouldn't be it could just be creating an empty folder somewhere else. Obviously need to run check on that so make sure you have correct HL path. Worst case is only creating an empty folder wherever you have it set. Will change that.

Yeah, sure , give me 10

My system paths are defaults but it's on the J drive

J:/hyperspin

J:/hyperspin/hyperlaunch/media

Does it need an end /

When first run it does default to your settings. The odd thing is that it isn't finding the assets. How do you get it to go green like your picture? Mine just populates the first column

The Artwork column? You do have some asset in your /Artwork/systemname/romname/ ?

For now with MAME & AAE it works different looking for cabinet, marquee ,flyer, circuit board images etc. Then if you have a screenshot folder for game.

All other systems on that first tab checks inside if you have folders belonging to romname.

Thanks for the reply. I'll check my system tomorrow. I'm sure it's user error!! Lol

So far looking good. Few suggestions:

  1. Ability to resize the window, it only takes up 1/3rd my screen height and too small for long lists.
  2. Default folders should be the standard setup so it works easier out of the box: (C or D drive): D:\Hyperspin and D:\Hyperspin\HyperLaunch\Media
  3. A "Check All" button so I don't need to hit check for each tab
  4. An option to display only missing items
  5. An "All Media" tab that contains one column for each media type so I can get a global perspective on what games don't have at least one item in their folder. This would save a lot of time by not going through each tab for every system.

Keep up the good work!

Cool cheers, at least you haven't come back with too much errors! Which was a main worry , as only tested on 2 machines. One without a HS/HL install.

With the default not sizing , I didn't want it to be to big to start with. Tried to find a middle ground so to speak for a lower resolution. It shouldn't fill up a 1024x768 as it is now. I hear you though, a fully fledged audit/rename/fetcher would be decent but hopefully you can find some use of it for the time being. It's defintley speeded up my filling odds & sods and save me typing & clicking through folders.

When you changed the path it did save it right afterwards right? I will change it but you're running debug version and it's set so I don't have to change it everytime I build it lol

I didnt restart it afterwards, so I can't say if it saved.

I'll upload this one in a bit, hopefully someone can tell me if the scrolling's a bit laggy. Probably just my cpu.

Soon as I started painting the colors she started crapping out a bit.

Brilliant....FTP or Dropbox?
